The Pumpkin Patch & Halloween

Ace has had a jam pack couple of days. Now while these two events (the pumpkin patch and Halloween) are both his second adventures, they are certainly the first conscious experiences he's had with the events and my oh my did he love it all. Yesterday we went with Becky and crashed her daughter's field trip. Ace had a blast running all around with the kindergartners. He was able to pet a goat, pet a duck, run through a maze of hay and climb on pumpkins. It was so exciting for him and he loved every moment of it.

Today of course was Halloween and he's been test running this Nemo costume for months now. He loves to put it on and run around and today he was just as excited. He was show stopper (as usual) and everyone whose path he crossed made a comment about how adorable my little Nemo was. He had a ton of fun chasing after everyone and seeing all their costumes. Although he was neither impressed or frightened by any of them. He did fall asleep in my arms for about 20 minutes and he was out like a light. Too much excitement coupled with a lack of an afternoon nap sealed the deal for him conking out for a bit. :)

We went to a local church that has a huge harvest festival every year for the kids and we with with the newlyweds, their kids, and yes of COURSE Grandma came to participate in all the excitement. Ace absolutely loves Abby and chased her around everywhere. He played a few of the games and got a bit of candy (which we passed onto his 'cousins') He had himself a wonderful Halloween. We were very much missing dad though. Loving Husband would have LOVED to be here. We're headed home soon though!

Time for Halloween!

I'm reading on my laptop while my husband and I watch a cooking show. I had to pass the laptop over to him to check out Aiden in his Nemo outfit. Oh, he is sweet. My husband is wondering why we are looking at a picture of a boy we don't know. LOL Men!
