Chick Chat

Yes, it is finally my turn to participate in Chick Chat hosted by Three Bay B Chicks! I'm so excited. This is my debut vlogging experience, so forgive my atrocious use of fillers ("ums" "uhs" and "so") the communication professor in me is beating me senseless for such a terrible display of nonverbal cues. Siigh. Do as I SAY not as I do, right? I digress! Enjoy

Today we're talking about What's for Dinner?
Myself, Jenni from Jiggety Jigg, Kim from The Ungourmet, Denise from There’s Always Room for One More and Heidi from Sacred & Profane, are all a chatter about our dinner habits! So please stop by their places after you've watched my vlog!

The intro-title page somehow managed to be 10 seconds, so I apologize for the long black screen - just think of it building anticipation! ;-) Or just fast forward a few seconds.

We do the menu list thing EVERY week and still eat out a good 30% of the time! :-) We are mommies and we are tired and most of all, WE ARE LAZY! lol

...I'm with ya, sister. We eat out MOST of the time... Especially during the school year, with basketball..and other after school activities. I'm working on it. This summer has been better though, more down time... (but I don't really enjoy cooking). Aiden's adorable as always...:) and you did a great job, I think...vlogging, I've found is intimidating!

I'm with you! I don't like cooking, but I don't mind baking...and I also get pumped if I get a new recipe or pan to work with, but after making it once, the fun is over! Cooking on a regular basis is so lame.
Just found your blog! I am your newest follower! :)

What? The Swedish meatballs at Ikea are not authentic? I think you have just shattered my entire image of Swedish cuisine.

I suppose knowing is half the battle, though. :)

Thanks for playing along, Jo. Great to see you on camera.

Love it! You're so stinkin' cute! :)

My great grandparents are from Sweden, too - so I love the Swedish Meatball recipe my great-grandmother gave me...bet ours are the same! ;)

Wish we had more 'eat out' places around here... :)

I can never seem to stick with a good meal planning schedule, either. I used to keep up with a food blog, but that has been sorrowfully neglected.

And now a message from my 4 year old son:

Sometimes there is nothing like eating out. We do it a lot too or bring it home 'cause with 4 kids restaurants shudder when we come in.

Great video. Came over from Chick Chat.

You did a great job! I can't do all the fancy video editing stuff. I'm a dork. HA!

Well, you are a technical whiz bang! I think we eat out twice a week and the rest of the time I cook. I always love vacations because I don't have to cook at all!
