Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you all have a happy and safe experience today. Pray for me, I'm going into a I don't want to pass on my fears to my son, but I my fears have been well ingrained in me. I prefer the professional shows, but sometimes the company and friends win out - so while I will be despising ever second of the pyrotechnic nonsense - I will enjoy the company that I am with. Happy Fourth of July, while the amateur fireworks are not my favorite - I do love this holiday and what it stands for. God Bless America!

Hi! Just stopping by from SITS. Amateur fireworks can be rather tense ( I know because I've been at parties with a few folks who were a little too bold (translate careless) with things. Thank God that's not always the case.....but I'm with you...I really enjoy the professional events better! LOL Hope you enjoy your day. :)

I remember when I was a kid, I used to cry a lot every New Year's Eve because I was scared of the booming sound of the fireworks. Honestly, if you look at the family photos, you'd always see me with eyes bloodshot and nose drippy. :D
