Ace spent a good amount of time on his dad's shoulders taking in all of the sights. It was a feeding day at the zoo - as a special Fourth of July weekend attraction, so Ace and his dad were even interviewed on camera for a local segment, sadly they didn't make the cut - so Ace will have to have his television breakthrough at a later date.
It was a warmer day so sadly the animals were not as active as they might have been if it had been a standard northwest afternoon, but that's ok - it was decent weather to walk around in and we all appreciated that. Not sure that Ace had a favorite animal at the zoo - at least nothing that he squealed particularly louder at anyway. But he did certainly enjoy looking at all the furry things move around. The monkeys/gorillas were the most active so we spent the most time observing them. It was a delightful time.
