The other side of the fence...

We can't help it - we always want to see if it's 'greener' on the other side of the fence! Sometimes we find that it is, other times we find that it's no different, sometimes we can see that is 'greener' and we just can't quite make it there... unless we are determined. Ace was determined.

Yes well this playful fun is all well meaning and totally mundane... what is she talking about 'fences' what does this have to do with this picture sequence one iota? Well you see... it has to do with the fact that we were on the midlevel and the playroom is on the basement level behind a gate.... that my son fashioned a step 'ladder' and climbed over to play in. After establishing the silence and photographing this amusing tale, I left him to his own devices and he played for about 20 minutes before realizing that he was imprisoned and started singing for his release: 'STUUUUUUUUUUUCK!'

Putting his 'lello ball in caaaa'? Having a lot of fun. Showing his 'lello ball' to his momma..

What? You think this seems normal, no fences here?
Just a boy playing with his toys?

Oh you are in trooooooouble :^)... little man is going to keep you on your toes. You sent me these pictures yesterday without the explaination, make so much more sense now. Now you can understand why I made your daddy get rid of the pool when Derek was this age. Determination and Brilliant are two adjectives I would use to describe your son.
